After a thorough finger examination of the rectum, an anoscope is used to check the condition inside the bowel, and hard stool is confirmed, so an enema procedure is started. A medicinal solution is administered with a glass enema device, then the patient is made to wear disposable paper shorts and asked to hold it in as long as possible. When abdominal massage is performed, the urge to defecate becomes too strong, and the solution overflows from the anus and soils the paper shorts.

A colored special medicinal solution, 1000 cc, is administered under high pressure using an irrigator. After a small irrigator is used to give a lukewarm water enema, the height of the device is adjusted to repeat infusion and discharge, washing away dirt inside the bowel. A strong medicinal solution is injected with a cylinder enema device, and when a diaper is applied and the abdomen is massaged, the remaining stool in the bowel is expelled with loud sounds and soils the diaper.

The patient is seated in a gynecological examination chair with hand restraints, legs spread, and the limbs are secured while dilation training of the anus and rectum is performed. After careful finger massage, a dilation bougie is inserted into the anus. Starting from about the thickness of a little finger, the process is gradually expanded until it reaches a rod thicker than a man’s thumb. Gas that has moved down into the bowel due to stimulation is released through instrument insertion. For the final step, a giant silicone device modeled after the shape of the large intestine is inserted into the bowel to the limit.
