[Ai / 20 years old / College student] This project involves throwing a dart at a map of Tokyo’s 23 wards and approaching women in the area where it lands. This time, we headed to Marunouchi in Chiyoda Ward. Since it’s a busy area with many people passing through, we narrowed our target and decided to look for someone visiting from outside the city. While waiting near the guide map, we spotted a girl intently studying the map. The girl who responded when we spoke to her was Ai, a college student who had come to Tokyo from Aomori. From what she told us, she had broken up with her boyfriend and came to Tokyo on impulse, only to end up standing around not knowing what to do. She also seemed hungry, so we invited her to eat, and although she was cautious at first, the three of us ended up going to an izakaya. With complaints about her ex-boyfriend as the side dish, she kept drinking and soon became quite cheerful and relaxed. We then went to karaoke, where we grew even closer, and when we suggested arranging a place for her to stay, she readily agreed to come with us to a hotel.
