NCAC-049 A hot spring inn where you can spend the night together

The hot spring inn in Hokkaido, founded by her grandfather in the postwar years when the herring fishery was thriving, had been in steady decline by the 1960s. But thanks to a clever idea from the third-generation proprietress, Fujiko, the business was revived and its sales doubled. Her strategy was to offer a special overnight stay plan that appealed to guests looking for a discreet, no-strings-attached getaway. This successfully attracted women traveling together and solo female travelers. Word of mouth spread, and before long it became known as the hot spring inn where such private overnight stays were possible.
