Rei Ohama is the head of a rising apparel planning company. She had been discovering promising designers and launching them successfully, building an impressive track record, but the company also had a weakness: a shortage of funds. Investor Sawada takes a strong interest in the company and secretly sends in his secretary, Tsubaki Yamaguchi, to take it over. Tsubaki slips into the gaps in Rei’s emotional and physical dissatisfaction and wins her over with her refined charm. She then introduces Rei to Sawada, but jealousy soon begins to surface, and Sawada uses those feelings to manipulate the situation.
