SPRD-1266 That casual partner from back then was… my friend’s mother, Sumire Mihara

While tidying up my room, I found an old photo tucked between some cardboard boxes. It was a two-shot photo with my first love. Looking at it, I was reminded of the past.

I first met her at my best friend’s house. Yes, she was my best friend’s mother. I used to go to my friend’s house for any reason I could think of. Of course, it was because I wanted to see her.

I was still a child and didn’t know what to do with these feelings. One day, I went to my friend’s house. That day, she was the only one there, and my heart was racing more than usual. She asked me if I liked someone. When I nodded yes, my heart was beating so fast I thought it might burst.

She told me that if I would regret it, I should confess my feelings. So I gathered my courage and told her how I felt. She laughed and said, Me? An old woman like me? I couldn’t even come up with the right words, but she smiled and thanked me.
