Launched in March 2020, the first installment of Emoi Girls features Emi Suzukaze, 23, in her fourth shoot, where she tries taking the lead with a rookie male performer of the same generation. This time, things are different from her previous three shoots, as she takes the initiative herself. The setting prepared for these two, both born in the Heisei era, is once again a Showa-style love hotel with a rotating bed. From the opening, I was soothed by her gentle, reassuring manner as she helped calm the rookie’s nerves. Her expression and gaze as she looked at him were incredibly calm and deeply moving. People often say that girls are emotionally more mature than boys their age, and it really does seem to be true. It felt like I’d been shown something wonderful. Even the way she watched him awkwardly moving his hips made it seem as if she was silently cheering him on, and that somehow brought tears to my eyes. Women are truly amazing.
