N, a married caregiver, was approached by a part-time college student during an overnight shift with just two staff on duty, and their relationship crossed a line. Driven by the stress of daily life, she became captivated by the young man’s intense passion, and they began meeting in private spaces such as the on-call room and staff room, giving in to their feelings without regard for place. The married woman, who casually enjoyed an affair, found herself becoming increasingly aroused during night shifts.
