My hobby is photography. I’m not especially good at it, but I love it, so I always carry my camera with me. Whenever I come across something that catches my eye, I press the shutter. It could be a person, an animal, a flower, or anything else. I try to capture the irreplaceable moment right in front of me in a single photo. Because these are moments I happen to encounter through a chain of coincidences, I believe there is meaning in preserving them as memories, along with the story of how they came to be.

One day, I met a woman who was also holding a camera. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. Gathering my courage, I spoke to her. Are you into photography? I fell in love with her. I wanted to make her my subject. In other words, I just thought it would be lucky if I could take a cute girl’s picture. Things went surprisingly smoothly, and this is a record of one day when we ended up getting close.
