JUR-244 The kitchen is a hotbed of domestic affairs. Ichiki Mahiro

During the week of Obon vacation, I went back to my husband’s family home. I had been looking forward to spending a relaxing time with him, but as soon as we arrived, he went out to meet a friend. I was shocked to learn that the friend was actually his former girlfriend.

With nowhere else to go, I could only cry alone in the empty kitchen. Just then, my brother-in-law came by. He had also recently gone through a divorce and was deeply hurt. Before long, we naturally began to comfort each other’s loneliness in that kitchen. Day and night, our bond grew intense and close.
