SGKI-056A I Want to Be Called Funny Rather Than Cute: Following a Female Comedian Who Keeps Getting Laughs No Matter What Happens, Comedy Duo HARD, Sketch Presentation to the Writer Edition

A documentary following Bunji, the straight man, and Yui, the funny one, a male-female comedy duo in their second year together, as they keep trying to get laughs no matter what. In the tough world of comedy, where only a handful make it big, this follows the two as they aim for the top. They’ll do whatever it takes to succeed, but the harsh realities of comedy start to strain their relationship. Since this is a male-female duo, Yui gets the full brunt of the pressure in this tougher version. No matter what happens, getting laughs on stage comes first. A bold performance with a trembling lower-body gag and a fearless comedic routine from Yui, the rising queen of laughter in the Reiwa era. This is the segment where they present their material to the writer.
