On a stormy night, a double booking at the guesthouse they had reserved leaves them in an unexpected situation. Unable to reach the management company, Satomi, a married woman, and Akira, a company employee, are forced to spend the night together as strangers. Through awkward conversation, they begin to notice each other’s loneliness, and as they grow drawn to one another under the same roof, their emotional distance slowly closes. In the rain-soaked night, with thunder echoing outside, the closeness they have already shared becomes impossible to undo. Even as they know morning will bring their parting, the two are pulled deeper into a forbidden affair, seeking comfort and connection in each other.
