KT-289 Finger Matsushita Reiko

A serious drama about the dark side of the entertainment world and the detective investigating it, complete with an opening in the style of Kon Ichikawa, makes you wonder what exactly you’re being shown. But in the end, the intimate scenes move at a brisk pace, making up for the time taken by the drama, and the result is a very provocative production that largely ignores the story setup. Some things that would be considered inappropriate by today’s standards appear quite casually, giving a glimpse of a more relaxed era. The balance between the drama and the sensual content is regrettably uneven, but viewers should enjoy the generous, free-spirited style that reflects the confidence of a more prosperous time.
