Five girls, Michika, Noa, Momoko, Rena, and Mitsuba, dressed in white ceremonial robes, are surrounded by the men of the village. Their clothes are suddenly removed, and the girls are examined from head to toe, including their bodies and physical development, until they become flustered and overwhelmed by the atmosphere.

The purpose of the ritual is to determine whether they can live as adult women and take part in married life, and whether they can understand and experience intimacy. Pressured by the adult men, the five girls gradually give in to the mood and move on to the village’s final coming-of-age ceremony.

To satisfy the adults, they do their best to please them, showing devotion and obedience. As the men’s affection and attention intensify, the girls are carried away by the moment and the ceremony continues in a highly charged atmosphere.
