Fitch exclusive: Reina Momozono takes on the challenge of running her family’s struggling bathhouse all by herself, bringing warmth, comfort, and a caring presence. After her father is hospitalized with an injury and her mother stays by his side to care for him, Reina is left alone to handle the family business. One day, while washing the back of a regular customer who always visits, her clothes gradually become wet and clingy. Seeing the man become visibly flustered, Reina remembers her parents’ teaching to do her best to comfort anyone in need, and she kindly helps him feel better. The next day, she is shocked to receive a notice of seizure. Determined to turn the business around, she recalls how much the customers enjoyed the previous day’s bath service and decides to launch a new kind of service.
