YOCH-022 Forced into a private training room in a housing complex to help repay her husband’s debt, yet her body still reacts intensely… Kyoko Maki, 38

After 12 years of marriage, the innocent Kyoko devotedly supported her husband. Seeing him struggle every day to manage the finances of the company, which had fallen into the red due to the impact of COVID-19, Kyoko suggested seeking help from a private lender. Before long, funding prospects began to improve, and Kyoko believed they could finally start rebuilding. But then, to her shock, her husband disappeared. Soon after, a man named Nakamura appeared, claiming to be a good Samaritan. He was actually a vulture buying up bad debts from private lenders at low prices. He confronted Kyoko about the debt with no clear way to repay it and forced her to declare that the collateral for her husband’s debt was herself.
