My job is boring. But since this is all I can do, I get by day to day with a part-time job at a convenience store. There are female coworkers at work, including a college student and a young married woman, but I’m not especially close with either of them. All I ever do at the job is pray for time to pass quickly.

That was my dull, repetitive life until one day, a prank by a coworker made me drink an expired beverage and I passed out. When I woke up, I could see strange numbers and percentage signs in my field of vision. The numbers were different for each person, and they kept going up and down. Looking more closely, I realized they seemed to change based on how excited someone was.

If that’s the case, maybe I can use this to get closer to girls? Thinking that, I started trying all kinds of things to raise their excitement, and before long I was winning over female coworkers and customers alike. This special ability is amazing. I never want to lose it. My boring part-time shifts turned into incredibly fulfilling days.
