Trying and failing to conceive, and a marriage that had become little more than a duty to have children.Still carrying a sense of emptiness in that relationship, I went on the night shift and was assigned to a male patient who had been rushed in unconscious.

A few days later, just as the patient began to show signs of recovery, he suddenly overpowered me. I was unable to resist and was assaulted.

Unable to tell anyone, the days passed coldly, and I tried my best to forget. Then something strange happened to my body.

I discovered that I was carrying the child of the man who had assaulted me.
